We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Personal Assistant (PA) to support a 10-year-old boy who is non-verbal and autistic.

He is a happy, active child who loves getting out and about. 

Favourite activities include swimming, travelling on the town service bus, and exploring the outdoors.

When the weather is nice, he particularly enjoys visiting local rocky beaches, Sand Gairdins, and Michael’s Wood in Aith.

Hours:

• 2–4 hours per week

• Availability required from 2pm on Fridays and across the weekend (Saturday or Sunday)

• Additional hours may be available during school holidays

Role & About You:

• Spending quality time together and supporting community activities and outings

• Helping engagement in enjoyable and meaningful experiences

• Some personal care will be required

We are looking for someone who is caring, patient, fun and engaging, comfortable with outdoor activities, and reliable and flexible. 

Experience working with children or individuals with autism is beneficial but not essential.

Valid driving licence is essential.
