Personal Assistants required in South Mainland
Rate of pay: £15 - 17 per hour
We are looking for kind and reliable Personal Assistants to support a woman in her early 40s living in the South Mainland. This role would suit someone who enjoys conversation and has a person-centred approach.
• Up to 10.25 hours available
• Flexible working days and times available. Hours can be arranged to suit the right candidate(s).
• Supervision and access to training and qualification provided
Personal Assistant(s) Responsibilities (up to 9.25 hours available - these hours could be shared between more than one PA.
Rate of Pay: £15 for unqualified, £16 for SVQ level 2, £16.50 for SVQ level 3
• Personal care: showering, dress & hair care
• Household tasks: tidying, laundry, dishes, changing bedding
• Meal preparation & batch cooking (once a week)
• Socialising in community (driving required)
Lead Personal Assistant (up to 2.5 hours)
Rate of pay: £17 per hour
We are also looking for someone able to take on some additional coordination and organisational responsibilities. This could either be a separate role or combined with a Personal Assistant role.
• Coordinating rotas for other PA shifts
• Support with organisation (mail, simple admin)
• Collecting prescriptions / local shopping (occasional driving).
About the person
This role is to help with a woman who has a combination of physical and neurological conditions and values calm, compassionate people who work with empathy and honesty. She is warm, creative and intelligent with a great sense of humour and a love of books, music and time spent by the sea.
No experience is necessarily required, but applications from people with a caring and flexible approach are encouraged.
