We are looking for compassionate and reliable Personal Assistants (PAs) to provide relief support for an elderly gentleman living at home on the Westside, whose physical abilities can vary. We are recruiting more than one PA to share up to 14 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours during holiday periods.

The role is flexible and may include weekend work, with hours arranged to suit both the needs of the gentleman and your availability.

The role includes:

• Accompanying the gentleman on outings in the car, both locally and further afield 

• Providing companionship at home and in the community 

• Supporting attendance at local events and activities 

• Sitting with him at home to allow his main carer to attend appointments or take breaks 

• Assisting with some personal care tasks where required 

The gentleman enjoys conversation and social interaction, and particularly likes getting out for drives when he feels able. This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys building a friendly and supportive relationship.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a valid driving licence 

• Has a compassionate, patient and friendly nature 

• Is flexible and able to provide relief cover when needed 

• Has previous care experience (preferred but not essential)
